Elopements and Intimate Weddings

The traditional approach to weddings can be daunting. Elopements and intimate weddings focus on the true reason for a wedding – just you two making a life commitment to each other.

You can marry secretly or in the presence of just a few close friends or family.  Our packages offer you choices for your romantic and intimate ceremony.

‘Let’s just elope’

For couples that want a quick, no fuss, casual yet intimate wedding, our elopement package is the answer.  An elopement at Hedge Farm provides exclusive use of our venue for 60 minutes and allows 10 people – the couple marrying, and 8 guests. This gives you time for the ceremony and a glass of bubbles afterwards.

You will have exclusive use of Hedge Farm and can choose the location of your ceremony – our garden, gallery chapel, barn or stable– are some of our ceremonial sites.  In colder weather we recommend an indoor space.

As required by law, a Notice of Intended Marriage must be completed and provided to the celebrant at least one month before the marriage ceremony. A six-week time frame is preferred.

• Venue Hire
• Celebrant  – we do all organising and booking
• Set up of area of your choice
• Post Ceremony Glass of Champagne for you and your guests
• Use of the venue for photo shoot, if you choose to have a photographer (we can also make recommendations for photographers, if needed).

‘Let’s just get hitched with no fuss’

An intimate wedding package with extras, for up to 30 people (including wedding party). The number of people can be increased for $18 per head (maximum number 40).

Package includes:

• 90 mins exclusive access to Hedge Farm
• All coordination of the ceremony
• Celebrant for fully personalised ceremony & all legal requirements
• Choice of ceremony location, styled for your wedding
• Bridal bouquet and/or buttonhole
• Celebratory drinks and canapés. We can also open the bar for further purchases.
• Use of the venue for photo shoot, if you choose to have a photographer (we can also make recommendations for photographers, if needed).

Price: $3600

We are located in Macedon Ranges, 10 minutes from Kyneton, which has some amazing restaurants and accommodation options for you to continue your celebration! We are also located in Macedon Ranges wine region (closet winery just 3 minute away). Our local brewery and gin distilleries offer great after-wedding party options.
