Hedge Farm’s Merino Station is a converted railway station and one of the best country retreats on offer. The station building was moved to the property from Merino in the western district of Victoria over 30 years ago. Its romantic country style interior retains much of the charm and character of the 1884 building.
Merino is a perfect get away for one couple. There are open fires, a luxurious queen size bed, designer hand-made bath, large veranda and a continental breakfast for your enjoyment. Other features include electric heating, fully equipped kitchen and flat screen TV with DVDs.
The country view from the veranda is amazingly tranquil. Merino needs to be experienced to fully understand why it is rated so highly. Simple in style - but special in the vibe it conveys.
